I was already fascinated by my first wristwatch that my godfather gave me. It was a mechanical watch, the wheels, the filigree technology has always inspired me. From then on this watch became my constant companion. The respect for the watchmakers, who assemble something like this with the finest handwork, sparked a passion in me: collecting watches.

At some point the thought of having a watch made for me and like-minded watch friends according to my ideas grew. It took a long time to get the right professionals and watchmakers excited about this idea.

This is how the 1st CM, Christof Maybach automatic wristwatch was created, with the best components the market has to offer. Of course with an original Swiss Made movement in the finishing stage, of course with a 316L stainless steel case and a sapphire watch glass including a Cyclope date magnifier, a ceramic inlay in the rotating bezel, 300 m waterproof, with a screwed watch crown and many other noble and exquisite watch components and details.

Last but not least as a chronometer in the observatory Glashütte / i. SA tested and “ennobled”, including official test certificate, as a “accolade” for a wristwatch.

The result is a beautiful “CM”, Christof Maybach wristwatch / chronometer.
